Dorset Double Header

The appalling weather relented just long enough to permit back to back matches in North Dorset on 14th and 15th July. Playing against Paul Heward’s Invitation X1 at Sandroyd School, we won both games in style with some vigorous hitting and good quick bowling particularly from Harry Nosworthy, Michael Edwards and man of the weekend, Leo Buscombe. More details to follow, including a coy description of the barely-discernible rocking motion of the President’s caravan witnessed by sharp-eyed Refreshers at various times.
